The hotel also has a pool onsite, as well as a restaurant, a fitness center and a business center. We headed over to BetterBidding.com to sift through past Hotwire bids and results to see just what 3.5 star hotel this might be.
At first, we considered the Sheraton Delfina, but that is not really within walking distance to the beach.

Santa Monica: Georgian Hotel: Where Terrible Screenplays Are Written?

And that was especially evident at The Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica where we spotted what looked like a wannabe screenwriter and a Wesley Snipes look-alike (or was it really him?) sitting outside on the rainy porch, a laptop computer between them. Inside, the ambiance was a little cozier. Families playing chess, trendy-looking tourists sipping wine in the bar area, the soothing orchestral sounds of Pink Martini playing softly over the sound system. Founded in 1933, the Georgian combines art deco décor with beachside cool. And on sunnier days, is one of THE places for L.A. hipsters to mingle, schmooze, and booze
