Down About Fall? Hilton Hotels In Puerto Rico Will Spice Things Up

But instead of letting it get us down, we're trying to look on the bright side. And that bright side is looking an awful lot like Puerto Rico, thanks to Hilton Hotels' Fall Getaways deals.
Available at four luxury properties--El Conquistador Resort, Las Casitas Resort, El San Juan Hotel & Casino and Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza--the promotion includes affordable rates, third nights free, and discounts at the hotels' spas and restaurants.

Carolina: El San Juan Hotel Makes Some Changes, Now that It's a Waldorf-Astoria Property

Puerto Rico's El San Juan Hotel & Casino has joined the Waldorf-Astoria gang, which means that hotel is seeing some changes. It has a new burger joint, special introductory rates and a resort fee.
The biggest change is the newly instituted daily resort fee. The fee is 14 percent of the room rate. That means if you get a $159 garden double room, the resort fee is $22.26; a $219 city-vista room carries a $30.66 fee. But you don't get much for it. The fee covers daily live entertainment, fitness center access and poolside activities.

Carolina: El San Juan Puerto Rico is Bringing Back The Mancation

But you know who’s not all torn up about it? NFL fans. Fall means football—and all the eating, drinking, and male bonding that comes with it.

The folks at the El San Juan Hotel & Casino in Puerto Rico know this. That’s why, with the season kicking off next Thursday, they’re promoting their cabanas to football fans.

They claim spending a game day inside one of their poolside cabanas is the “ultimate mancation,” which, frankly, hurts our feelings. We too are football fans, even if we’re female. (Maybe they could have gone with “fancation”?

Translation: legend...wait for it...dary.
The South Carolina barbecue joint (slash fratty, fratty bar-like hangout) opened its doors to the sweet bros of the non-NYC world on September 6th to position itself as the ideal place for eager San Juan-er's to kick off the football season. The 220-seat rooftop hotspot boasts a Backyard Movie House, "Swamp Water" Cocktail Bar, a mechanical bull and 22 HD flatscreens.
No, did you read that? A mechanical bull.
