Once in town, you will want to stay at one of the many killer hotels Bruge has to offer. We made our camp at one such hotel, Hotel Heritage, which is steps away from Markt and Burg, the two main squares in town. You will need to take a cab from the train station to the hotel, unless you are up for a twenty minute walk with your luggage.
More on the Heritage after the jump

Today, a reader lets us know about a B&B in the city of Ghent, Engelen Aan De Waterkant. Enjoy.]
Great B & B. Owner is super nice, and the fixtures are amazing--beautiful claw foot bathtub, lots of curtains and bedding, and it's not very expensive. She makes breakfast and since lace is famous in Ghent, even the hard boiled egg had a lace cozy to keep it warm. Highly recommended.
See, you learn something new everyday!
We particularly love the web site's description of the rooms:

The rooms with separate bathrooms were carefully restored and decorated: with fairness, passion,

The country gets little to no rain during April, only green grass, blossoming trees and warmer weather.
The Hotel Heritage is capitalizing on the bloom with their Spring Wellness Package which includes:
· 1 or 2 nights inluxurious accommodations
· Hot and cold buffet breakfast
· Boat ride on the picturesque canals of Brugge
· Four-course dinner with aperitif and coffee (sorry, no booze. It's called the Wellness package for a reason)
· Use of sauna, steambath, fitness room and sunbed.
To up your healthy intake, grab a vitamin cocktail at the bar, and this time you can choose to add alcohol but 4 out of 5 doctors
