He's not the only celebrity to own a hotel - Clint Eastwood owns the Mission Ranch in California, Bono owns the Clarence in Dublin and Cliff Richard has the Arora in Manchester, complete with, er, Cliff-themed rooms. But staying in Sweden's capital is a fundamentally different hotel experience from staying anywhere else in the world. It's because staying in Stockholm is all about style, health and design.
This week we'll be breaking down the Stockholm hotel scene for you

Stockholm: Geek Hotel Tip: Hotel Rival

Malc writes in:

The Hotel Rival has a 32" HD LCD TV and a Sony DVD player with line in. And whatever is playing, be it the TV, a CD or your laptop plugged in, feeds through to a speaker in the bathroom above the shower and there is a volume control on the wall. Its really cool.

Geeks will also love the free WiFi in the lobby. However, if you still have some anti-social behavior left over from middle school, you may not like the hotel's happening bar and lounge scene.
Keep your Geek Hotel Tips coming

Stockholm: The Abba Hotel

The most modern and vibrant hotel I've ever stayed at. And the staff was just amazing nice and helpful and lovely. The rooms were decorated so chic and the plasma tv was great and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Couldn't possibly recommend it highly enough.

A good bed is not all you will get at this Stockholm boutique--a cinema, a bar, a bistro, and a bakery
