San Diego's tucked-away La Pensione Hotel offers a good budget option in Little Italy, but the 19-year-old hotel's showing its age, and we don't mean like a fine vino. But La Pensione's in the process of a renovation that'll be as refreshing as a chilled bottle of prosecco.
