New York: 'Sex and the City' Movie Filming at London NYC Hotel

A reliable Hollywood insider told us that the Sex and the City movie is filming this week at the London NYC Hotel, home to Chef Gordon Ramsay's namesake restaurant and a place where one restaurant employee partied with some strippers.

Our informant couldn't reveal much more info so we have no idea what days they are filming, what the scenes are about or who's in them. If we had to guess we'd say it involves Carrie and Big having some ridiculous argument over dinner at Ramsay's. But maybe it's Samantha partying in a room with restaurant employees.

But we were cruising on Sunset the other day (not that kind of cruising) and noticed the hotel has hardly undertaken any renovations. Right now, it just looks like an abandoned hotel. So that January 08 date is pretty laughable.But regardless whenever it opens, the hotel will be all-suites with Waterworks bath fixtures as well as a Golden Door spa.
