Forgive us for being obvious, but with balmy temperatures on the radar this weekend, Washington, D.C. has suddenly become a worthy February vacation spot—and hotel rates are great near the White House.
As usual, we checked rates on our custom hotel search tool. Best of the bunch, close to Chez Obama? The W Washington, D.C. from just $219 on Saturday night. Next door, the Willard Intercontinental is at $239. And the famed Hay Adams Hotel, where the Obamas stayed right before Inauguration Day, is at just $279.

From then on, we've rarely ever seen a hotel that didn't have such a device. Sure, the brands were different and some worked better than others but there was always an output for our MP3 players so that we could always have personal soundtrack with us.
But a friend told us last night that during his stay last week at The Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, DC, there wasn't an iPod docking device, much to his disappointment.
The hotel does have a Bose CD player but let's be real, who carries CDs with them anymore? Still, before
