The Chateau Marmont has had its share in the spotlight, most recently in the Sofia Coppola-helmed flick Somewhere. But now the West Hollywood hotel will have its own starring role in a new miniseries from Office star John Krasinski and Social Network scribe Aaron Sorkin, Deadline Hollywood reported.

The duo will executive produce the hotel-set HBO show with hotelier Andre Balazs and his daughter Alessandra. (Aha! So this is that TV show Andre was working on.) Be careful about tweeting about celebs at star-packed Chateau Marmont. Former Apprentice contestant Jenn Hoffman was dining in Bar Marmont when she saw Rachel Hunter break out into some crazy behavior and she tweeted about it. The result: Hoffman is banned from the hotel for a year.

Hoffman took to her blog to explain the sitch:

"She's doing high kicks in the middle of the restaurant, she's yelling and screaming, she's singing happy birthday at the top of her lungs to a party that's not her party, she is doing full on splits—splits—spread eagle this way and this way in the middle of the restaurant...showing everyone her ladyparts."

The cast and crew of the award-grabbing Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush flick are checking into big-name hotels on both coasts to build buzz ahead of the Oscars on February 27, where the film is up for a jaw-dropping 12 awards.

First up this week was a fete at the Chateau Marmont that predictably drew a giant roster of stars, including co-stars Firth and Rush. Director Tom Hooper and money man Harvey Weinstein were also on hand—along with Renee Zellweger, Quentin Tarantino, Michelle Williams and Jeremy Piven, according to The Daily. Apparently, James Franco was also in the house but not at the party.
