The Tides South Beach has finally completed its year-long renovation, including its long-awaited pool area and super awesome Hotel Maven Jochenwb dropped in these pics from Suite 701 and other parts of the hotel into the HotelChatter Flickr Pool.

The hotel looks amazing. Our favorite shots are of the pool and the wild lobby. Oh yeah, and the suite is pretty sexy too.

Now is great time to stay at the Tides because room rates (and demand) have dropped to a reasonable off-season price. Which means for $395 a night you can get a studio suite facing the Atlantic and Ocean Drive. Holla'! We're going to Miami!

Miami Beach: The Tides South Beach Still Lacks a Pool But Makes Up For It With This Killer View

<![CDATA[<img src="http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/admin/tides702.jpg" class="imgborder"> The renovations at the <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/The+Tides/local/165">Tides South Beach</a> have been going on for what seems like forever but we got a snapshot of the view from Room 702 and we can't help but stare at it all day long. Seriously, if we stop posting for the rest of the afternoon on HotelChatter it's probably because we have a severe case of <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/tag/cubicle%20dreamin'">Cubicle Dreamin'.</a>While the hotel is nearing the completion of a $14 million restoration (finally), the pool is still not opened. That's expected to happen by May 1st. We'll see. First it was to be done in January and then in March. In the meantime, you can use the pool at the neighboring <a href="http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2008/2/21/05419/7257/hotels/The_Tides_South_Beach_No_Pool_Yet_But_You_Can_Use_The_Hotel_Victor_s">Hotel Victor</a>
