Seattle: Hotel 1000 Will Roll Out the Red Carpet for Its Oscars Party

But there will be action off-screen, too, with live performances from Teatro ZinZanni, a local dinner-theater troupe that combines improv comedy, vaudeville, music, dance and cirque.

Seattle: Celebrate the Season with a Conscience at Hotel 1000

As soon as we were old enough to know better, materialism, Macy’s and a complete lack of religious convictions killed the seasonal merriment for us and we pretty much tune out the world from Thanksgiving until the New Year.
We make a few exceptions, especially for people/places/products that manage to celebrate the spirit of the season with a conscience – Hotel 1000 in Seattle. The hotel does it up Saint Nick style all month long (faux snow at front door, warm nuts for passerbyers, etc.), but

When Kim Kardashian parted ways from her football boyfriend, Reggie Bush late this summer, the raven-haired beauty hit the peroxide bottle and went blonde. (Both couples seem to be back on again. For now.)
So, whether you’re rebounding from a nasty divorce or an unforeseen break-up (our condolences, we know how much break-ups suck), Spaahh at Hotel 1000 is on hand with its Back on the Market Package to help wash that man (or woman) right out of your hair.

Timing-wise, it didn’t hurt that our feet were in desperate need of some summer lovin’.
Spaahh offers the usual treatments from facials, massage, manis/pedis, and treatments made just for the men.
Seattle: 10 Reasons To Hit Up BOKA Happy Hour at Hotel 1000

If you’ve ever been to Hotel 1000 then you know that this popular after work spot boasts one of downtown Seattle’s best (if not the best, IMO) happy hours. Chef Angie Roberts takes BOKA’s culinary program seriously and doesn’t slack for happy hour just because prices are slashed. Instead, her nearly 80% organic menu shines on spruced up comforty American favorites, with – dare we say – a bit of urban flare. When we stayed at Hotel 1000 the other month, eating at BOKA was the highlight of our trip. That and the Space Needle of course!
