Yes, you read that headline right. Thompson Hotels will now be selling limited-edition designer condoms at their hotels.

Fashion designer Charlotte Ronson (sister to Sam and Mark) has teamed up with Proper Attire condoms to create stylishly packaged condoms so that ladies will feel comfortable reaching for protection that isn't branded with words like "MAGNUM" and "Ribbed for her pleasure."

Instead, the condom package designs are tasteful and whimsical and come in three different types--color (hot pink), sheer and basic. Even better, each sale will benefit Planned Parenthood.

We heart hotels that throw in tech freebies. So we have to give some love to the The Sax Chicago for allowing guests to use their smartphones or laptops to print out their boarding passes or whatever else they might need. Even better, they can print eight pages for free.

The Sax's using PrintSpots, which permits people to use their iPhones, laptops, etc. to print to a designated spot in the hotel without having to plug in a foreign device into your computer.

We received a couple of tips lately that there was something brewing with Thompson Hotels and usually when more than one tip comes in, we know something's up. But today we have confirmation that indeed The Hotel Sax in Chicago, best known for its RockBand studio and where we recently shacked up the other week, is turning into a Thompson Hotel.

The conversion will officially happen on December 1st and while the hotel was recently renovated a few years ago, we fully expect the place to get "Thompsonized."
