New York: W Downtown Warms Up New Yorkers The Only Way It Knows How: Free Hot Chocolate

So cold, in fact, that we made an impulse decision to go hide out in the W Downtown for a few minutes, seeing as the crowds on a Wednesday afternoon were minimal.
The hotel's relative emptiness also worked in our favor when we got up to the fifth-floor Living Room bar and noticed, to our sheer delight, the bar was offering free cups of hot chocolate. And not, like, a one-cup-per-person deal. It was self-serve. And it was gooood!
Tucked in a corner at one end of the bar was a small thermal dispenser,

But there is another FiDi spot that has become entangled in the Occu-Phenomenon: namely, the W New York Downtown. The NY Post has learned that several key OWS protesters decided to go occupy $500-a-night hotel rooms—rather than church basements like the rest of the 99%—after Zuccotti Park was cleared out two weeks ago.
The paper identified two protesters, 24-year-old Brad Spitzer, an analyst at Deloitte, and Brooklynite Peter Dutro, who co-manages the movement's $500,000 in funds, as having booked rooms at the Freedom Tower-facing hotel. Apparently, the appeal of W's Whatever/Whenever service was just too

It's a time for rooftop terraces to open, European tourists to trek up and down the streets of Soho, and hotel cocktail waitresses to shed clothing and strip down to outfits more suitable to hot, hot weather. Usually that means mini-dresses at the trendier hotels, but for the W Downtown, it's a really cute tuxedo shorts set.
The new outfits—designed by Lyn Devon—are inspired by the conservative suits of nearby Wall Street, livened up with a bit of silk satin trim. Somehow they manage to provide more coverage than a skimpy dress, yet look infinitely sexier. We approve! In fact, we wouldn't mind wearing this as an everyday look.
To
