And now the Financial District will have a Wall Street-themed hotel, with stock ticker-inspired light displays in the lobby and plenty of local iconography. The new name for the ever-changing 280-room property on 26th and 7th Avenue is Hilton New York Fashion District, which will sound hilarious to anyone who actually lives in New York and knows that such a neighborhood doesn't really exist. New York: Double the Snuggies! NYC Rooftop Bars Drink Through the Cold

Indoor-outdoor rooftop bar 230 Fifth, already rightly famous for its Snuggie offerings, is going even bigger this winter, just in time for a cold snap that has New Yorkers even more gripey than usual.

Set atop the former Victoria Hotel, the massive nightlife space is adding 50 new heaters and doubled the size of its Snuggie collection to more than 1,000, meaning the club now has enough fleece robes for every last guest. Also added this season is a new drink list which purportedly includes cocktails

which offer a moderate dose of that jolt popularized by the now-banned caffeine and alcohol infused energy drinks, such as Four Lokko.

New York: Fashion 26 Switches Its Cupcake Alliance

Earlier this fall, NYC's Fashion 26 hotel went through some management changes and we had a momentary panic about the availability of those free cupcakes upon check-in.

All turned out to be well--the hotel assured us that guests were still getting their sugar rush courtesy of Crumbs Bakery. Now, though, the hotel has switched its baked goods alliance. Yesterday, we noticed this update on Fashion 26's Facebook page:
