Seattle: More Falling Glass From a Hotel, This Time at The Four Seasons Seattle

Just when we thought the falling glass trend was behind us, some windows have shattered again, this time at the Four Seasons Seattle on Sunday. And much like what happened with the W Austin the loose window panes were actually from the residences that are attached to the hotel. But what's worse here is that this is the third time windows have fallen from the building since July.
Thankfully, no one's been hurt or injured but the glass has cracked the glass awning at the entrance of the hotel and a car was slightly damaged.
Needless to say the hotel has finally gotten the idea that all 300 of the tempered-glass windows need to be replaced.

Baltimore: The Four Seasons Seattle Has Apparently Been Transplanted to Baltimore

But we were still shocked when a tipster pointed out that the room photo is ripped off from the Four Seasons Seattle's website!
So you can see for yourselves, we put the room shots together above. The room photo on the bottom is the Four Season Seattle's partial bay view room while the one on the top is the Four Seasons Baltimore's generic room shot.
Five Hotels for The Holidays That Go Beyond Dinner and a Room

Trust us; we'll be hearing (and writing) about them ad infinitum.
Finding metallic ornaments and maybe even a Christmas goose dinner is easy enough at any number of establishments, so today we're highlighting five that go beyond dinner and a room. There's something special shaking at this quintet of hotels, and it's up to you to experience the good tidings in person.
The Balmoral Hotel
At this high-end hotel in Edinburgh, guests get a "home away from home" vibe with a complimentary in-room Christmas tree for decorating. This week we'll be putting forth our reviews and observations on Seattle's hotels, of which there are plenty. Got any questions or suggestions? Let us know.

Just a few blocks up from the Hotel 1000 and one block from the must-see Pike Place Market is the new Four Seasons Hotel & Residences. When we sauntered by the place, there was a Ferrari parked out front. How cliche! Nevertheless, we decided we must head inside to check this place out.
Seattle: Four Seasons Opens in Seattle; Bill Gates Probably Very Happy

We know about you Four Seasons loyalists--if there ain't a Four Seasons there, you won't go.
The hotel officially opened today with the Art Restaurant and Lounge inside. There's also a spa on site whose treatments incorporate natural elements of the coastal region of Puget Sound.
Room rates are steep at $365 a night with the presidential suite going for $5,000 a night. Then again, that's just chump change to Four Seasons' co-owner and Microsoft god Bill Gates
