We’ve always wondered what it’s like to be in a hotel room whose window is sitting under one of those wall ads – you know, Donny & Marie at the Flamingo in Vegas, or, the one we always notice in LA, the Andaz WeHo.

And now we know. Some friends of ours recently stayed in said Andaz, and we paid a little visit to their suite. We were wondering why, on one side of the room, the windows were tinted, and then we looked closer to find that they were, in fact, spotted with a network of thousands of little dots - what's making the picture look all grubby here.

Here at HotelChatter, we’ve heard of some obscene parking charges. And while admittedly this one doesn’t quite trump the $75 overnight fee at Smyth Tribeca, we were pretty shocked by it.

Over the weekend, we went to visit a friend staying at Andaz WeHo. Having stayed there before, we remembered they had ridiculous overnight charges ($28, since you ask), but we were hoping that for an in-out visit of under an hour (not as dodgy as that sounds, we swear) there would be different rates.
