Just what Chicago needs--another steakhouse. But this one has an um, interesting name behind it--Michael Jordan.
Crain's Chicago reports that an MJ steakhouse will start construction on the second floor at the InterContinental Chicago on Michigan Avenue this June.
The Michael Jordan-branded restaurant will feature a 7,000-square-foot dining room seating up to 160 on the hotel's second floor, a bar with a 70-person capacity and two private dining rooms able to hold 18 people each.

Yes, this is the InterContinental Chicago on Michigan Avenue aka Magnificent Mile, right next to the Tribune Tower, the River and all the fashion stores your little heart desires.
The hotel recently completed a $30 million renovation in April which has upgraded all 328 rooms in its Historic Tower (which dates back to 1929) with flat-screen TVs, new carpeting and new furniture such as oversized armchairs and desks with plug panels, our new must-have. ]]>
