No where celebrates Maputo Day like the Grande Dame. &#x3C;p&#x3E; The colonial style &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.polana-hotel.com&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Polana Hotel&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;/a&#x3E; takes you back to times before wireless (although there is free internet access), dining requires &#x22;smart casual dress&#x22;, and when a room at the capital city&#x27;s gem hotel was a mere $200 a night. &#x3C;p&#x3E; Guests will enjoy panoramic views of Maputo Bay. Maputo is a walkable city, and the hotel&#x27;s location is great if you happen to lose your passport (close to the embassies), want to dine without being smart casual (near lots of great restaurants), or are doing business with the government (hopefully less sketchy</description>
