As you can guess from the package's name, the hotel will give you a personalized holiday stocking filled with coupons to stores and restaurants near the hotel. You'll also get a voucher that entitles you to stay in the hotel for the same rate in 2010.

Kids can dress up to enter a costume contest and to trick-or-treat on the hotel's property. They'll also have the chance to get their faces painted and do some pumpkin decorating.

But as Hotel Week—set for November 13 to 26—approaches, more than 40 are on the roster. Thing is, we found that you're not necessarily getting a deal if you book a room through the Hotel Week website.
Don't get us wrong, you can score some price cuts. The Estancia La Jolla is giving out rooms for 50 percent off. A room that usually costs $275 is $137.50 exclusively through Hotel Week's website. You can also snag a guestroom at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront for $99. The regular price is $109.

Another modern touch is the walnut-topped custom dining tables with solid inlay edges and corners, metal bases, and wood balustrade pedestal. The faux-leather bar stools and banquettes in muted ivory and tan shades with a metallic gray spray finish soften up the room a bit. Panels
