Imagine this, only in Rotterdam

Much as we love the idea of staying on a boat on one of Amsterdam’s canals, we’ve never quite dared take the risk, because most of them sound a bit like floating hostels.

And advertised prominently on the hotel's <a href="http://www.goldentuliprotterdamcentre.com/?Language=EN">website</a>!<p>Despite the hotel's futuristic look it was constructed in 1987 although it did get a recent renovation in 2007. The hotel is rather large too with 263 rooms and suites.
