<title>Hyatt Kauai: Pools on Empty</title>
<link>http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2006/11/1/203913/319</link>
<description>&#x3C;![CDATA[&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/admin/hyatt_kauai.jpg&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;[Ed. Note: HotelChatter correspondent &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/user/asalkever&#x22;&#x3E;Alex Salkever&#x3C;/a&#x3E; from &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hawaiirama.com&#x22;&#x3E;Hawaiirama&#x3C;/a&#x3E; returns this week with the scoop on Kauai&#x27;s best hotel pool. Enjoy.]&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;The pools at the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.kauai.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;/a&#x3E; on Kauai are fricking amazing. They slosh across a whopping five acres and snake around this huge resort dropping 40-feet or so through a number of levels down to the beach. &#x3C;p&#x3E;They come in both fresh and saltwater varieties. Multiple waterslides including a 150-foot beauty keep the kiddies yammering for more. A classic river-style layout, they include a generous smattering of waterfalls, grottoes, secluded decks for sunning, and small swimming holes. &#x3C;p&#x3E;In fact, the Hyatt Pool is the second best pool in Hawaii behind the multi-level monster</description>
