So we took a look.<p> Most hotels on Santorini are whitewashed cliff houses overlooking the volcano and the sea--so it is kinda hard to go wrong. <p> The Katikies Hotel is a seaside boutique with 21 rooms, all peppered with antique furnishings, and some with their own private balconies.<p> The hotel is not within walking distance to Thira, Santorini's major town, however, the village of Oia is just a quick walk away, and there are plenty of jewelry shops and local restaurants there for you to breeze in and out of.
