While the rain and winds have eased a bit, there's still some bad weather and flooding about, and all of that stops Sydney-siders and tourists taking holidays up the coast.</p><p>Hotels don't like this, and the <a href="http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/cp/160/en/home"><b>Crowne Plaza</b></a> chain is in major damage control already, pumping out press releases that their hotels in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle and Terrigal are undamaged and fully open for business.
