But instead of sitting quietly and thinking about what he's done (and thinking of ways to apologize to disappointed fans), he's been partying it up at the Atlantis Bahamas.
New York Daily News reports that he checked into a two-bedroom suite in the Cove section

Room With a Killer View: Looking Out of Club Level at The Cove, Atlantis

We are suckers for a room with a killer view. We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.

Thanks go to jyanich for dropping this killer view into the HotelChatter Flickr pool. And that dime must go a long way as rooms at the Atlantis, which has an onsite casino, a Nobu restaurant, nearly 6,000 rooms and an open-air marine life habitat, can hit up to $10,000 for a week.
Naturally, this has the employees stuck in Atlanta pissed, especially since most of them won't be getting bonuses

Note: Hurricane Katrina was beyond devastating for the residents Louisiana and Mississippi. Lives were turned upside down, forcing many residents to find new homes in shelters or hotels. In New Orleans, however, many hotels are anxious to displace the evacuees to make room for the tourists visiting for Mardi Gras. Fortunately a judge just ruled that the evacuees could stay until Mar. 1. This just shows that even four months later, Hurricane Katrina continues to have repercussions. This week, we are posting stories involving hotels and Hurricane Katrina, giving an update on how things seem to be progressing.
