Hotel Indigo Glasgow Is Open But It'll Cost You

No sooner had we expressed doubts that Hotel Indigo Glasgow would be opening on schedule last Monday, what with the website not accepting bookings and no staff around to answer the phone when we called to reserve, someone from the hotel told us we were wrong, and that the hotel did in fact open as planned on 18 April. Our bad. Maybe having some staff on rezzie duty three days before opening might have solved that confusion.
Anyways, a room tonight will set you back £129, whereas last time we checked, they were going for £115. It’s an odd decision to up their prices, seeing as Malmaison, which is probably

Hotel Indigo Glasgow May Not Be Picking Up The Phone As Scheduled On Monday

This time it’s the turn of the Hotel Indigo Glasgow, which was scheduled to open on Monday. Only problem is, that although the website states that the opening date is on track, it isn’t showing any availability until the following Monday, 25 April.
It does, however, have a note saying that for reservations before 2 May, you're meant to call them. So, to give them the benefit of the doubt, we gave them a call today (during office hours - at 3pm Glasgow time no less) and found the phone ringing, ringing... and going straight to voicemail. Not answering the phone at 3pm? That doesn't

Whether you're into raunch, roses, or Rosé, every day this week, we’ll pick a different property that we think will knock your socks—and who knows what else—off.
When it comes to Scotland, Edinburgh usually tops the go-see list. Still, we’re partial to Glasgow, and its louche, devil-may-care atmosphere. The city once had a rough rep, but today there are plenty of pretty spots.
