This year, we&#x27;ve been subjected to hotel room windows that looked out onto &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2008/10/30/105750/45/hotels/Hotel_Diva_is_a_Repeat_Anti_View_Offender&#x22;&#x3E;alleyways&#x3C;/a&#x3E;; views of dirty &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2008/10/9/94555/9104/hotels/Room_With_an_Anti_View_Hotel_Pelayo_Barcelona_s_Unsavory_Rooftop&#x22;&#x3E;rooftops&#x3C;/a&#x3E; and dirty people; the occasional brick wall &#x26;#151; but no anti-view was so &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2008/7/27/23389/4119/hotels/Room_with_An_Anti_View_Embassy_Suites_LAX_Left_Out_Their_View_Of_El_Segundo&#x22;&#x3E;disappointing&#x3C;/a&#x3E; than the one at the &#x3C;b&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/hotel-reviews/Embassy+Suites+Lax+International+Airport+South/ian/125997&#x22;&#x3E;Embassy Suites LAX&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/b&#x3E;, where the guest gets a view of absolutely nothing. Nothing! &#x3C;p&#x3E;HotelChatter&#x27;s very own &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/user/markj&#x22;&#x3E;MarkJ&#x3C;/a&#x3E; hit up this hotel and was confronted with a window-less room: &#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;We have seen frosted windows before, nothing new there. <title>Room with An Anti-View : Embassy Suites LAX Left Out Their View Of El Segundo</title>
<link>http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2008/7/27/23389/4119</link>
<description>&#x3C;![CDATA[&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;i&#x3E;You know the scene. You open the door to your brand new hotel room, run over to the window, open the blinds and bam, you are hit with the anti-view. Maybe you are looking down a dirty alley, witnessing a drug deal, staring at an air shaft in the face, or seeing a brick wall. Whatever you are viewing it is not extremely pleasurable. Help out your fellow hotel mavens by uploading your anti-views to the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://flickr.com/groups/hotelchatter/&#x22;&#x3E;HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, or by &#x3C;a href=&#x22;mailto:tips@hotelchatter.com&#x22;&#x3E;sending the photo along to us&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number with the not-so-easy-on-the-eyes view.&#x3C;/i&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E; &#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/3/el_segundo_embassysuites.jpg&#x22; class=&#x22;imgborder&#x22;&#x3E; &#x3C;p&#x3E; Ok, this has to be one of the craziest anti-views</description>
