Room With a Killer View: Peace and Harmony in County Cork

We are suckers for a room with a killer view. We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.

We feel instantly relaxed just looking at this view from the Kingsley Hotel in Cork, Ireland, next to the River Lee.
Ireland's Hotel Scene:: Jurys Doyle Hotel Cork

This is the first in a three-part series.
Our Hotel Maven first visited the Jurys Doyle Hotel Cork in Cork County, a four-star hotel which just opened eight months ago. Here's the review:

We stayed in a king bedroom on the fifth floor (their highest floor). The room was rather large and had a modern decor. The bathrooms were especially nice with a tub separate from the shower stall.
We stayed in Cork County for 2 days and the hotel had a great location for walking around the city. The restaurant and bar inside the hotel were good too.

Built on the site of the 19th century Ditchley House, the hotel boasts such 21st century amenities as 24-hour room service, satellite television (in case you don't want to watch soccer, er, football) and WiFi internet access. Furthermore, there are 3 golf courses nearby--it is Ireland, after all.
Sure, all those amenities

Earlier this week, the Jurys Doyle group announced plans to demolish the existing building and replace it with a 185-bedroom hotel and 300 apartments."

But the hotel plans on offering jobs to the lot of them when it reopens.
