College Football Hotel Map: Where to Stay Near OSU

The college football season is in full swing, so we here at HotelChatter are doing our best to help you fans support your alma mater in the best way we know how, with our College Football Hotel Map, a guide of where to stay when you attend the games.

Ohio State University is still holding steady this season in the #8 according to the AP's Top 25 College Football rankings. And the OSU football scene is pretty big in Columbus, Ohio. But if you lived in ho-hum Ohio you would make football a big thing too.
Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised to find that near OSU you can stay at places like Holiday Inn,

Drury Inn Columbus Lives Up To Lobby WiFi Hype

Long story that has something to do with that whole Skybus thing. Anyway, thanks to this Drury Inn story we immediately headed to the Drury Inn in downtown Columbus post landing.
Once there we were treated to fast, quick, no hassle hotel WiFi. As an added bonus some sort of autoplay invisible ghost played the lobby piano all day. Much better than a real life hotel pianist.
Since we didn't stay at the hotel we asked a fellow lobby dweller what he thought of the place:

Better than Marriott Residence Inn here, better than the Columbus Embassy Suites--this is my first time

Cubicle Dreamin' is a feature in which we ask the hotel mavens to take some time out of their busy work day, surf the Internet, and tell us what hotel they wish they could beam themselves to right that very second--all on the slave driving companies dime, of course. Oh, like these people aren't surfing aimlessly anyway--at least now their purposeless clicking will be cobbled together into useful hotel stories--we hope. Have a destination hotel you are just dying to leave your cube for? Send the story our way.
In this episode, Hotel Maven Pbb finds a Red Roof Inn alternative in Columbus. Well, at least a guerilla art display of Paris will greet you.

In a guerilla art campaign that lifted its major points from Banksy (the stealth replacement of a Paris Hilton object), artist Vinchen plied his trade at the Columbus, Ohio Hilton Hotel. He replaced a wall-mounted house ad with a more revealing image of the hotel heiress, in a mock ad that read: "For over 80 years, the Hilton name has been synonymous with elegance and class. A tradition that continues today."

Unfortunately, the artist Vinchen's website is down right now so you can't see the full NSFW version.
