<title>Haunted Hotels :: The Windsor Hotel</title>
<link>http://www.hotelchatter.com/story/2006/9/24/225352/400</link>
<description>&#x3C;![CDATA[&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;img align=&#x22;right&#x22; src=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/files/admin/windsor_americus.jpg&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;i&#x3E;We&#x27;ve written about &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.hotelchatter.com/tag/haunted%20hotels&#x22;&#x3E;Haunted Hotels&#x3C;/a&#x3E; before but this week we&#x27;re looking for some good ghost stories. We know, Halloween is not for another month, but if you plan on taking a trip around the end of October, you should know which hotels might have some unpleasant and unwanted guests. Unless, you&#x27;re into that sorta thing.&#x3C;/i&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.windsor-americus.com/&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;The Windsor Hotel&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;/a&#x3E; in Americus, Georgia has officially achieved haunted hotel status. Last month, a team of paranormal investigators, the Big Bend Ghost Trackers, declared the place haunted based on rumors that the hotel was frequented by ghosts. One in particular is Floyd the Doorman who haunts the third floor. Don&#x27;t worry, he&#x27;s harmless. Floyd worked for the hotel for 40 years</description>
