    • Best way to get to delta terminal with boarding pass is thru hotel. No line thru security. Before seven pm.
    • Super nice front desk woman helped us get a new room right away when ours smelled like smoke!
    • Avoid rooms 818, 824 or around this area. Really bad noise coming from transformer on the roof. Your mind will crazy things if you sleep with the noise.
    • Mushroom ravioli at their restaurant DEMA is to die for!
    • Free wifi. Relaxing interior. Fave place for me when I have a couple of hours.
    • Very slow Internet... Fail for the business traveler....
    • Cheap valet
    • Room 868 is the best. King Suit. Ask for the room if you want a upgrade
    • Security check point is only open after 730, but what else do u expect from tsa!!!
    • Such a beautiful hotel. The lobby is amazing and unexpected.
    • There's a separate security line which is great if you're flying Delta but get there early. It opens at 7:45am and the line can be long.
    • In room wifi sucks - 1 bar at best
    • The checkpoint is great - if you have a paper boarding pass. As of August 2011, they don't have a scanner that can read smartphone passes.
    • A little-known security check point is here with no line
    • New menu items- Halibut and Tuscan chicken
    • Put privacy notice outside door if you plan on staying after 8 am or housekeeping will come early.
    • Full body screening is mandatory. FYI
    • Sea bass is very nice. Ask to have it blackened. Delicious.

    • The Westin Trick only works after 7:45am.
    • Living here for the next few weeks... Sweet!

This hotel is PERFECT if you need to stay in/near the Detroit Airport! I was expecting just another tacky hotel plopped in the middle and it was far from it! They did an amazing job making you feel like you are in a seperate place all together! It's very hip and stylish for a airport hotel and that's perhaps why it's my favorite. Not to mention they have a seperate entrance into the airport so you don't have to go with the masses. All around I recommend this hotel.
