Beautiful rooms, excellent service at this hotel

Rating: 10

I got a deal on one of the websites that do discounts, and stayed here with my girlfriend. We had a wonderful night, and the room service was excellent. The rooms were beautifully kept--nice and spacious. All of the amenities were great too. Nice gym, restaurants, and art work!

Very nice

Rating: 8

Stayed overnight for a quick trip into the city. Very happy we stayed here. Excellent location, easily reached by car. Allowed us to check in early. Room was spotlessly clean and if the weather had been nicer it would have afforded a wonderful view of Central Park straight down the avenue. Beatiful old world feel. Only downsides as others have mentioned, small, slow, and few are the elevators which is what you get unless you want brand new and soulless. Make sure you plan accordingly. And our AC was not the most efficient (but it was a brutally hot and humid day). Bathroom products were very high quality and although small the bathrooms were very nicely done. Remember this IS NOT a five star hotel (but not for lack of trying) so even though the service is top notch do not expect some of the "fluff" you find at five stars.

Great location!!

Great Location!! This hotel is very nice in a great location to walk everywhere and the staff were incredibly helpful. The only down I had was the bed was a little hard but other than that no complaints.

WOW...History

Rating: 10

I was in town on personal business and chose to stay at the Warwick Hotel. It was a super choice and I will do it again. I loved how you feel like you have stepped back in time. The historical feel and look of this 1927 hotel is awesome. The prices are high, but that is NY. The service was great! The ambience was SUPER. My room was large. The bathroom was beautiful. It was small, but adequate. The only complaint was the walls are apparently paper thin, however, just bring some ear plugs because this hotel is a must stay! The location is AWESOME!!!!

Classy, with great history!

The Warwick is a great place to stay! The staff was exremely welcoming, and I enjoyed a note in my room telling me what the weekend's events were in the city! The Chill Out Sundays package allowed us to stay there at a low rate, and it included breakfast to go, a in house movie, and much more! Would stay at the Warwick anytime!

Lots of other better choices

Warwick makes ok first impression. But personnel and service just don't stack up. Many other hotels will appreciate your business and make you feel welcome. Warwick staff made us feel like they were doing us a service by letting us stay there. My opinion is to find someplace else.

If not for the location I wouldn't stay here

I expected lots from this property. The room was okay but the service was horrible from the non-attentive bellman staff, the less than friendly hotel desk to the food server with literally NO personality. Seeing that I work in the hospitality Industry my expectations are high we arrived struggling through the doors with 8 pieces of luggage there were 3 bellman on and NOT ONE of them stepped forward with a cart or to offer assistance at all. The rooms are about medium size not much room for a whole lot of luggage so keep this in mind if you are traveling with children for a extended stay with lots of items. Security staff was kind and friendly (took my ice bucket for me when I couldn't find the ice machine of my floor and brought back ice)

wonderful hotel - great friendly bar

I love the Hotel Warwick. It's rooms are large and comfortable, the staff is wonderful and friendly, but most of all the bar is superb with very friendly clientele.

OUTSTANDING!

Rating: 10

I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Warwick. It is the BEST location in manhattan. Just a 5 - 10 minute walk to NBC studios, Time's Square, Radio City Music Hall, Central Park, etc. The room was huge. Highly recommend!

Great Location

We had a wonderful time in New York and the Warwick only made it more special. It was centrally located...close to the theatre, Central Park, and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Would definately recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Classy and friendly

Rating: 10

Excellent room size and amazingly friendly staff. Small, elegant lobby. Very classy. Lanie Kazan was even performing in the restaraunt the night my girlfriend and I were there. Plus, you can always tell your friends that its built by William Randolph Hearst, and that The Beatles and Cary Grant were regulars. The morning breakfast in the room was beautiful, and it's impossible not to feel like a million dollars when it's brought.

Pleasant Historical Place

Rating: 9

The Warwick Hotel was chosen by someone else for me, but I am delighted by the choice. The rooms were a sheer delight, both in comfort and decor. Showering in a marble shower felt downright elegant. The staff was considerate and helpful, a quality not always seen in big cities. I would definitely return to Warwick in the future.

Great place to stay when rates are down

Rating: 9

I travel to NYC for business, and this is my favorite place to stay. The lobby is so small you don't feel like you're just another number passing through; it feels like you're on your way to your apartment. The staff is always friendly, and the breakfast buffet in the bar is convenient. At the lower rate, you may get a room with a "brick wall" view, but it's well worth it. The location is fantastic; we can walk to most midtown appointments, saving on time and taxi fares. Highly recommended. Search the discounters on the web for a good rate.
