In August of 2007, a large group of us were forced to evacutate Isla Holbox and Villas Paraiso del Mar due to the approaching hurricane "Dean".  While we were told that we would be rebated $1800.00 for missed nights, the refund never arrived.  Instead, hotel management has stalled and stalled, and lied to us regarding the issue, and 7 months later we have yet to see one cent.  They went so far as to give traveling companions of our false receipts showing a refund that of course never actually went through to their credit card.
