Condo had more than I was expecting

Rating: 8

I was up for the Teva mountain games and was just looking for a simple room and was referred to here from the area information booth. It was a full condo with a kitchen and fireplace. A lot for the price. The room I had was outfitted with bunk beds in addition to a Queen bed. I suppose the bunk beds come in handy for families that are on ski vacation, but I didn't need them. Incredible views from balcony, right on the river. Free internet was handy. Pools were excellent. A little bummed that I couldn't get a later check-out on my departure date but apparently there was a group coming in. Would stay here again, for sure.

Spacious Condos, Great Location

Rating: 10

The Antlers at Vail is the sort of hotel that Vail locals recommend to their friends. My family and I have stayed there several times and we always have a great time. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, and the location is very convenient - right near a stop for the free shuttle and super close to the Vail Gondola. My kids' favorite aspect of the hotel is definitely the heated pool, while I usually head directly for one of the two large outdoor hot tubs. Having a kitchen helps save money, too - we brought groceries to make breakfast and sandwiches for lunch and then splurged on dinner (Sweet Basil and La Tour are favorites).
