Overpriced resort - less amenities than a Motel 6 but twice the price

Rating: 6

We stayed here after getting a deal on priceline. Overall, it was not worth the price. It is supposedly a 3 star hotel, but it is really no better than a Motel 6. There is a huge convention center there ? so it?s probably better for that sort of thing. As far as a place to stay for a night or two, don?t waste your money. It?s the kind of place that charges you for absolutely everything. We got a room for $90 on priceline ? which is supposedly a savings of $30-40. However, then they charge you all those resort fees, $14 just to park there, and if you want to use the phone (even for local calls) or the internet, they charge you. The place is giant. It has 4 swimming pools, but only one hot tub. The hot tub was so far away that we didn?t even bother to go because it would have been too cold to walk back after sitting in it. The room was small, nothing special about it. There was no fridge or microwave ? those things cost extra. So, overall, this place has less amenities than a Motel 6 (except for having a convention center and place to hold big events) but is twice as expensive.

The BEST!

Rating: 10

I recently visited town and country and let me tell you it was the best experience I have ever had. The spa was gorgeous, huge and reasonably priced. The food was awesome and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful. I would reccommend it to all my friends
