Partner Reviews: The Westin San Francisco Market Street

An artful blend of design and service, The Westin San Francisco Market Street is a sophisticated oasis in the heart of San Francisco's South of Market district. Take a moment to admire the lobby's exquisite ornamentation, or enjoy breathtaking city views from your refreshingly beautiful guest room. Our vibrant downtown setting offers the height of convenience for business and leisure travelers as well, and provides easy access to many of the city's notable attractions. It is the blending of the design, art, and craft that makes our interior so unique. When entering the hotel, the marble foyer leads you to the elegant lobby. Rich woodwork, gold leaf domes, and an amazing art collection can be found throughout the hotel. The hotel's own artwork includes more than 30 pieces of original art, including images and sculpture from such well-known artists as David Hockney and Roy Lichtenstein.

    • Go out for dinner. Service is average for a top hotel.
    • Buy a MyWiFi device from ATT for $30 a month......or a prepaid device rather than pay $14.95 per night here.
    • A nice Westin with better than average rooms.
    • Great hotel! Beatiful view of Market street on 21st floor, right lane. Bring a jacket if You're In a conference
    • Your average westin. Note the gym is small and on the 4th floor.
    • If you want to play a game, go to the clockbar in the evening and try to pick out which are the hookers!
    • get spg gold/platnium status for upgrades
    • Great place to stay if you are going to AT&t Park. Only one mile by foot and located in a good area I'd things to do.
    • Pro-tip: Internet problems? Dial extension 4444 from in room phone. If that doesn't help, call front desk.

    • ...the in-room wifi is somewhat very unstable, don't know if it's in my room at 14th floor only...
    • Watch out from the $25 breakfast ;)
    • great hotel, but no room service after 10:30pm at night which sucks if you arrive on a late flight,
    • The rooms ending in an odd number have a view of SoMa and the bay--highly recommended!

    • No free wifi at the hotel.
    • Ask for a room ending in 01. Best full wall of windows views of city and water.
    • Def worth being a starwood preferred member. Look at this view! My new go to hotel I think!
    • Clean, smells clean, and the bed isn't mushy and soft. Got a free upgrade without asking- just because I looked miserable after arriving at midnight. Very nice staff.
    • No room service btwn 10:30 & 5:30!!! That sucks!!!!

    • There is a note under the desk in room 1001. Stuck to the bottom of the desk. Read it and leave your own.
    • Great hotel staff, locations, rooms... But beware room 1218 is LOUD for some reason. Maybe it's bc the elevator proximity.

    • The Grand Deluxe rooms aren't that special. The view is impressive, but the room lacks a lot of the amenities (fridge, free internet, etc.) that I've come to expect.
    • Rooms ending in 24 are on the corners and are roughly triangular with a 30-foot wall of windows.
    • Better of the two SF Westin's.
    • Preferred guest rooms on higher floors have amazing views. Absolutely my favorite westin.
    • Really great hotel. Super nice clean and new rooms with great views on high floors, Westin's are the best hotels.
    • Starwood Member Preferred Rooms are a bit nicer
    • Rooms ending in #26 are on a corner and they have floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides From higher floors they have amazinng city view. They are a little smaller, but cozy and the view is worth it :)
