Great place to stay, especially if you're packing dudes into a room. Every room is a suite (2 beds, couch bed, multiple TVs). Pool Is great with a diverse crowd. Don't gamble here, you will lose. -
Check out the tower in the courtyard: it’s a scaled replica of Venice, Italy’s St. Mark Campanile. -
Dress like a winner and double down at this Las Vegas favorite. -
The Gondola Rides are awesome with great singers, the mall has everything to choose from and it a beautiful atmosphere. -
Grand Lux has a huge menu....good hangover food -
this hotel is GORGEOUS! Walk the shops and for makeup lovers there is a sephora there also! -

Still my favorite place to wander around in. The shops are amazing, best restaurants in Vegas. -
Blue Man Group - Great show, I had front row seats, but no matter where you're sitting in the audience, they will make you part of the show. Good, clean, family fun fun in Vegas.
Queen for the Stay!
I will always stay at the Venetian when I go to Vegas because it has always been excellent from beginning to end. The rooms are cleaned to perfection, the restaurant food is wonderful, and the staff treat me with friendly, courteous respect while I am their guest. It seems like I spend all my time there because that is where the action is! This resort/casino is geared to making sure their guests have a memorable experience during their visit. Hats off to the Venetian... I look forward to my next "Queen for the stay"!
Not Really Five Star
Like a lot of people say the rooms would not be this dirty in a real five star hotel. Thick dust under lamps and coffee table. Threadbare furniture on some chairs. The mini-bar is electronically set that you are charged if you move an item, which they warned us about at the front desk, however what they DIDN't tell us that the tray on top of the cabinet that holds the mini-bar is also electronically monitored and since the door to the cabinet was broken it moved the items in the tray and we were charged!! I won't be staying here again. It is a 3 star hotel with gilt.

Service does not reflect price
I can't believe that in a place where they charge a FORTUNE for their suites, that there were hairs on our pillow and our bathtub was not washed!!! What kind of people to they have working there that do not know how to clean rooms? So ridiculous and will never stay there again. We were too tired to complain to the front desk and removed the hairy pillow and washed the tub ourselves. Disgusting! Stay clear of this place. It looks gorgeous on the outside, but the rooms are dirty from the inside. This place needs a new cleaning service from the sounds of the other reviews.
be careful what you sign at the front desk
I had reservations at Caesars but when I arrived they had no record of my reservation so I phoned the Venetian and they said they had a room available. I arrived at the Venetian and checked in for six nights. I gave them my Visa and signed the signature pad on the desk as requested to cover any extra charges to the room, telephone, mini bar etc. I had been quoted $200 per night over the phone and when I checked in. When I checked out I was charged $472 per night. When I complained they said I signed for it. They brought out a piece of paper with my signature on it. The signature was an electronic signature that they took off the signature pad and put it on the form that indicated that there was an upgrade charge of $272 per night. I told them that I didn't sign that form. I asked to speak to a manager. They said that the manager wasn't available. I asked to speak to the general manager but he wasn't available either. I was checking out and I had to get to the airport. I was there with a large group from Vision Expo West. I have tried to dispute this charge with Visa but without success yet. I will be contacting Vision Expo West to lay a complaint. I will also file a complaint with Nevada Consumer Affairs.
STAINED BEDDING & HAIRS ON SHEETS
We checked into our room to be greeted by hairs on our bedding. They then replaced them with STAINED sheets. It literally took 3 hours from the time of check in for them to finally change us to a clean suite. Our stay here was awful due to the poor service and obvious lack of hygiene. The Bellagio is by far a superior hotel. Make a smart investment and stay at the Bellagio instead. My stays at the Bellagio are nothing short of perfect but I wanted to try out the venetian based on all the positive reviews. Save your time, money, and sanity and book elsewhere. Besides, the suites at the Bellagio are far nicer!

Great suites
I love staying at the Venetian....however, try to book in the Venezia tower as opposed to the Venetian tower which is older and the wear and tear is beginning to show. Service is great and there are lots of choices for dining and shopping. Now that Palazzo's next door, there are even more things to do! Highly recommended.

I Felt like the rich
My company flies everyone out there for conventions. Boy was this hotel/resort nice or what? I was blown away by the room and the fact that the little things I need to bring but could not fit in my suite case the room accomodated. Items such as a bath robe, printer, fax and copier. I like the fact that it feels like a little city inside the hotel. That's how big it is. Don't be intimidated by the size of the hotel it practically holds everything in it you need like shops, resturants, casino, spa, work out facility, meeting facilitieeeeeess and more meeting facilitessss. I mean I stayed at nice hotels before but never nothing this nice. If you go to Las Vegas please enjoy live it up that's what it's here for so you can enjoy. Live like a king for a day or a queen that's what I say.

My favorite hotel in vegas
I love this hotel the rooms are great and the restaurants are awesome. I like to dine at Pinot it's not as crowded as Bouchon and I think just as good and not as busy. I like to play poker and I usually get the poker rate which is a great deal. You need to ask about specifics because one time I had to pay $1000. a night because room rate didn't qualify because of rules.

The Venetian Hotel and Casino
My husband and I stayed at the Venetian for six days. We found our room very comfortable. The maid service was perfect. We stayed there during a major "fight match", however we checked in on a Tuesday and checked out on Monday and had few problems. However we noticed that Wednesday through Saturday, checking in for new people arriving had to stand in line for a long time. We ate at the buffet which was just so so, also ate at Emeril's steak restraurant called Delmonico's and found it expensive, and just so so. We did eat at the Winn's Steak House the SW, and it was outstanding and worth the 5 star price. Definitely see the Beatles "Love Circe de Solei" It was fabulous. "Spamalot was okay if you are big Monte Python Fans. It was a bit humorous the actors were fabulous but the writing could have been better. All in all our stay at the Venetian was wonderful. The Bakery in the canal shop area was great. Great coffee and wonderful pasteries .
Love the Venetian!
The Venetian is a great Las Vegas hotel! It is on the Strip, so it is within walking distance of all the Vegas hotspots. The man-made canals, gondolas, "street" performers, and Italian-style buildings are kitchy but cute and definitely make for a memorable vacation. The Canal Street shops are awesome, with lots of high-end labels, unique products, and designers - you can find everything from Jimmy Choo shoes to Brookstone to Sephora here! There are also tons of "sidewalk" cafes, coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants, including Tao, a delicious sushi upscale restaurant and nightclub. The 4th floor pool is beautiful - there are comfortable padded chaises, a pool with halfway-submerged lounge chairs for sunbathing in the water, and servers sometimes come out with complimentary fresh orange wedges or ice water. A Wolfgang Puck restaurant is poolside, so you can eat chinese chicken salad, fresh turkey sandwiches, or hot and gooey personal pizzas while lounging. Heaven!
It's beautiful, but a bit overwhelming.
The entrance and all common areas are gorgeous, if a little bit 'Vegas' over the top. The suite was great too with a nice view down the strip. I would have liked cheaper table games, but I'm not a big gambler so I'm not the market they are looking for.
Wonderful romance
Even the cheapest rooms are suites larger than some apartments! The ambience is amazingly romantic with period furniture and all of the modern-day conveniences and amenities. The public areas are romantic, too, the Promenade around actual canals is lit at a constant twilight--just perfect for strolling arm-in-arm as you browse the upscale shops or for dining at one of the first-rate restaurants or riding in a gondola while being serenaded by your gondolier. Street performers right out of the Italian Renaissance complete the picture, from commedia del' arte clowns to musicians. The gaming tables, however, are not for the penny-pinchers and service was not quite up to the standard of a 5-star hotel.
Wonderful
The interior of the Venetian is a must see in Vegas. Taking a stroll alongside the gondolas is a great way to spend the last day in Vegas when you have no money left. Yes, it isn't fun walking past all the shops you couldn't afford even before you wasted all your money, but it is one of Vegas' best sites.
Beautiful Suites, can be a bit crowded
We absolutely loved this hotels. The suites are beautiful and very spacious. Everything is there. You don't have to leave the property if you don't want to!! Worth every cent!!
My favorite
I love this hotel it is my favorite of the Las Vegas strip. The rooms are elegant and luxerious. The pool is great. The restaurants in the hotel are a bit pricey but everything is all worth it. This hotel is nice because it is located towards the center of the strip.
Great Casino and Awesome Hotel rooms.
The casino is terrific. The hotel rooms are the best in Vegas. I have stayed there a few times and the rooms are huge with great beds and confortable environment.
A must see
It is so gorgeous here! I love coming by everytime I visit Vegas. It is class, it is elegance, it is style, it is so beautiful you must go. The mall is awesome full of high end stores with great windows. Plus they have the Phantom and Blue Men, both are great! Take a gondolla ride and relax.
This is one I want to stay at!
I have never stayed her but have been on the gondola ride with my husband, very romantic. The food is awesome and the service was just the same!.....You have to check it out!
top notch service, beds fantastic, rooms to die for, staff pleasant and prompt
It saddens me to see that there are some who have not found their Venetian experience most memorable!! My sister and I have stayed there a few times and other than being a little pricy--but you get what you pay for!!--the only faults were that they were too willing to help, even with sold out status...and forgetting to pour the coffee for us once when we had room service. We recently tried Mandalay Bay and at that time cancelled our future plans there and have returned as faithful Venetian customers. You all know about the marble floors, sunken living/dining rooms...but be sure while staying at the Venetian to try the fine,m excellent dining experience at Zefferino's Restaurant! One must remember that anywhere one goes in Las Vegas there is walking, whether to the pool or another area. Room service is exemplary. I have never experience any problem with drinks in the pool area. Remember, that with large hotels that just the logistics of getting from one place to another does take a bit of time. I never once called any of the services within the Venetian and was referred to any title other than my name, not a room number!! Stick with the Venetian and plan ahead for your needs. Enjoy! ...a faithful customer
Luxurious stay on the strip
I was lucky enough to stay at the Venetian for free- it's a good thing my friends have the gambling problem and not me. Walking through the lobby of the hotel left me in awe- I couldn't wait to step into the suite. The suite that we stayed in was gorgeous from detailing of the room from floor to ceiling. The bathroom must have been created by a woman or a man who knew how to make a woman happy. The hotel in its entirety was created with fine detail and screams luxurious. Once you stay at the Venetian there's no going back to another hotel.
Best of Vegas
On my first trip to vegas I was sorely disapointed in the quality of some of the more recognized themed hotels. It all looks so bright and shiny from a distance, probably to blind you to their faults. There's only a handful of hotels out of dozens that I would ever consider staying at or even visiting. The Venetian is #1 on my list. Clean, best most enveloping theme, great or maybe even the best location. The suite was probably the best I've ever stayed in, very pretty.
good room size, a little old fashion
The venetian is a good hotel to stay at if you have 3 or more people in the room. You can sleep up to six, but that's putting two on the pull out sofa. The bathroom is the best part of the room. It is nice having 2 tv's, but they aren't plasmas. Staying in the venezia tower is key because you have 24 access to the garden jacuzzi, but it's also a long walk from the elevators to the venezia tower.
gorgeous, spacious room
I stayed here over Labor Day and really loved the experience. Teh rooms were huge, not to mention the HUGE marble bathrooms with separate shower and bath. Ntex tim I'm in vegas, I will definitely be looking into the Venetian again. One downfall was that the pool wasn't a big hot spot during the day.

Relaxation VS. Poor Service
I stayed in the Bella suite and was happy with the comfort and decor of the suite; However, I was the least bit impressed with the customer service. I was just a NUMBER at the Venetian and THAT was not worth the money I spent. I have had better eye contact and quicker service at a Holiday Inn! My bags were sent up 2 hours after I checked in, and the registration line was too long to have been advertised as your private check-in area. Yes, I did relax on my vacation. However, I wanted to be treated like a queen.
very romantic
spent a week there with my boyfriend and it was the most amazing time we ever shared
Venetian is top of the line
Spacious suites, beautiful views, wonderful restaurants and nightlife. A great experience!
Poor service, great view & decor.
Very poor service from beginning to end. Great room. Poor selection of hotel/guest service offerings (food, information). Very nice place to visit.

great hotel, great rooms
we always love staying at this hotel. every room is a suite, so even if you can't shell out the big bucks you'll get a nice room. is you CAN splurge, the rooms get bigger and nicer. the bathrooms are just my favorite, big sunken hot tubs (so relaxing) and big shower stalls. service is always nice and with a smile. the shopping is decent here, not like the forum shops or at the bellagio though. lots of nice restaurants (try zefferino's) as well. always a pleasure to be here.

Venetian is fabulous! Stellar service!
Our room on the 33rd floor was amazing. Great view, clean & comfortable - housekeeping did a wonderful job. Ceasars used to be our default choice, but the Venetian has raised the bar. Everyone was helpful and amazingly friendly - from the housekeeping to the restaurant workers. The Grand Lux cafe is the BEST 24 food joint on the strip - very high quality and tasty food - no cafeteria slop here.

Great Hotel!
It was our first time in the Venetian Hotel and I have to say it is a great hotel! I have stayed in many hotels such as Paris and Bellagio, but the Venetian was the best of them all! The room was huge and luxurious. And the service was great, no problems there. I will stay there again in my next visit to Vegas.
Great Rate
Found a $99 rate to stay at the Venetian during the week. The "standard" room has a sunken living room fully furnished, 2 TVs and bathrobes. Awesome. It is a very luxurious hotel. Try to find this rate again. I don't know if I would go back and pay over $200 for the same room now that I got such a great deal.
Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover
The Venetian may look beautiful from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. The check-in line took too long, the service in itself was something that I was disappointed in as well as the Bella Suite Bathroom. For the amount of $ we spent we were expecting more! As for the pros, the gondola ride was entertaining. If you are looking for cheap eats, go for the food court! You will also be wowed by the works of art that surround the whole entire hotel. They need to get better SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE that's the #1 concern!
GENERAL MANAGER
MY HUSBAND AND I RECENTLY SPENT A WEEK AT THE VENETIAN IN LAS VEGAS. THE EVERYTHING FROM A TIMELY CHECK-IN TO OUR SUITE AND THE FIRST RATE SERVICE WERE GREAT. WE WOULD DEFINATLEY RECOMMEND THE HOTEL TO ANYONE WISHING TO STAY AT A FIRST CLASS HOTEL. THANK YOU, KIM DUGAN LOCK HAVEN, PA 17745
Best rooms
It is expensive, but it cost over a billion dollars to build. Rooms are the best in Las Vegas in size and quality. Hotel itself is beautiful, very original for US. Service was fine, but I would expect it to be a little better for a place like this one. Pools are small also, but SPA compensates it. Oh, one more thing - did not like service at their restaurants, better go to Bellagio.
the venetain sucks
I can't believe the hype over this place. It is a pretty hotel, but the service sucks. They only have 2 small pools and you can't forget trying to get a drink at the pool. They don't have enough staff for the number of guests. If you stay in the new tower, prepare for sandpaper sheets and a long walk to anywhere from your room. I would not stay there again.
Tacky, Overrated, Bad Service
A 9?? Maybe for vegas, but compared to any other hotel on earth, they need some work. Yeah, the bathrooms are marble. Woopdedoo - so are the bathrooms at ANY nice hotel. The entrance is very gaudy and crowded. The staff can't handle the amount of people that stay here. Any service request takes over an hour to remedy. I.e. it took an hour to replace a broken clock radio (which shouldn't even be a problem to begin with if housekeeping did its job). Both restaurants we ate at were overpriced and bad....My friend had what was essentially grilled cheese for $19 and I had eggplant parmesian...which was uncooked and soaked in oil.
Great Hotel
My husband was surprised at all the amenities that the Venetian offered. The staff of the front desk and bell desk were great. I can not believe how nice the suites were. They all contained 2 tv's, in suite fax, a safe, mini bar, and easy access to the shoppes and spa. The pool is even heated in the winter!
The root canal of Las Vegas
It's just another Vegas Hotel. Sure, it comes with an expensive gondola ride, and there are lots and lots of beautiful ways to give them your money. But the plain truth is that there are many things in many other hotels that are just as cool. The Venetion is beautiful but it doesn't deserve a top ten listing.
Breath taking
The hotel is just as beautiful as I thought it would be. We also enjoyed riding on the boats in the hotel. The hotel was just amazing. And the staff has a wonderful attitude. The whole hotel was just beautiful.
Refined, Class, Splendor
What more can one say about this one of a kind Hotel. It is the Jewel of the Strip, that offers the feel of glamor and high class at every turn. No all you can eat food bars and no tacky shows. Just first class people and first class rooms. The Venetian has become our home away from home every time we show up in Las Vegas.
Best rooms on the Strip
Easily the best rooms on the Strip. All are suites, and very nicely appointed with 2 TVs, etc. The shops on the canal are way above average, but the Forum shops at Caesars Palace are better. The restaurants are easily the best collection of any hotel on the strip. Great nightlife too as the bars can be better than the restaurants. The V bar, Velvet Lounge, etc. all give off a great, mellow vibe... unlike most of Vegas. Only downside is that there is no good dancing with C2K a complete bust. Last time I stayed there, I never had to leave the hotel!
GREAT ROOMS, MEDIOCRE SPA
Clearly the most beautiful and spacious hotels in Vegas. Great check-in, check-out and room service. Horrible spa, needs some serious remodeling. Great restaurants and art galleries!
The best yet.
So I've stayed at various places on the the Strip. Caesars, Flamingo Hilton, Treasure Island, Luxor, Mirage, Harrah's. None of them compare to the Venetian. The Grand Canal area is visually stunning, similar to Caesar's Forum, but raised a few notches. The attention to detail shows everywhere, from the 'cobblestone' streets to the red and gold banners pointing out directions. Sadly I've become used to Strip hotels having lavish casino/lobby areas and bland rooms. The Venetian seems out to change that, packing more into the standard-sized room. French doors open into a large bathroom with separate bathtub and shower stall, many mirrors, and a small dresser. The suite has a stepdown living area with a loveseat (hiding a pullout bed), two armchairs, two televisions, and a fax machine that doubles as a copier or printer. The Venetian has its quirks, but there's nowhere I'd rather stay in Vegas... yet.
Las Vegas' own part of Italy
The canal that runs through the shops is what makes this attraction so pleasing. Best ambiance.
gondola ride
The Venetian is a romantic all around dreamy hotel to visit. The minute you walk in your environment becomes surreal. You forget that your in Las Vegas and the beauty of it all swallows you up. They have this Ganola ride that i regret i havent yet taken but its amazing. I saw people all around me falling in love. If your looking for magic or just a romantic place to explore with your lover this is the place.
One of the best
Very elegant. Like the Bellagio, Caeser's Palace, and Paris, this exterior of the massive structure features the columns and Italian trimmings that define the heart of the Strip's high-end architectural behemoths. The elegant interior with canals, painted ceiling mimicking a cloudy day, and cobblestone street resemble Paris. As expected, the dining options are abundant and expensive.
Superior/surreal
We checked in to the Venetian with some apprehension. (It was the busy 4th of July weekend, and I had also read some reports of the "aloof" Venetian" service.) However, from the moment of (easy & swift) check-in to the equally smooth departure 3 days later, our experience was uniformly excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. The room/suite was huge (and nicely chilled! -- very important during the hot weekend...) Our specific requests were all handled graciously. (We requested a late check-out on the last day, with no problem -- tho there was some mysterious checking of my room charges, before our request was granted...) The enclosed "Venice" environment is surreal. Wonderful shopping & food are available - but I found the overall effect disorienting. (We ate a late dinner at midnight in a bright-as-noon canalside restaurant. Very strange...)
Oh yeah, baby
Gotta stay at the Venetian. The rooms are huge, gorgeously appointed and totally luxerious. Service is top-knotch, too. But be sure to bring a lotta cash. You'll be shelling out bills everytime you turn around, for tips here and there, plus for over-priced incidentals (I paid $3.50 for a plastic-wrapped muffin!).
very nice
when we arrived at the hotel, my first reaction was "oh, no too big for it's own good!" -- there were people swarming in the lobby and entertainers singing loudly... and it was all just a little too much chaos. However, I was very impressed once we go to our hotel room...it was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was lovely with a huge shower. The bed was plush -- I probably could have just spent the weekend sleeping in it. We ate at several of the hotel's restuarants and they were all very good. There's lot of high-end stores in the building, so I was very pleased. There is a tacky gondola ride but afterall it is Venice and your trip wouldn't be complete without it!
