Great Boutique Hotel right near Yale and downtown
This elegant yet comfortable hotel (they didn't overdo it) sits in the middle of Yale, shopping and tons of dining options. The staff is freindly and always helpful. The food was delicious and the bar well stocked. It had the distiction of not being a college hangout should you be looking for more of a quiet evening. At the same time you were in walking distance to almost anything (incluing the college hangouts) in downtown. While having to pay for parking is not a positive, it was valet parking with unlimited ins and outs. Also, the daily cost was cheaper than the surrounding parking lots for all day parking. All in all, we were made to feel at home and found the stay very enjoyable.
