    Soho Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at the Soho Hotel.  The location was great.  The staff was very friendly and the bar was relaxing while still maintaining a cool vibe.  The one thing to warn on is the room selection.  I reserved a Luxury Junior Suite and the room was very spacious, but the windows were interior windows looking directly into another Luxury Junior Suite's windows.  Our windows were approximately 15 feet apart and we could see directly into the other room.  We asked to move to a different room and they upgraded us as the hotel was not full.  I will definately stay at the hotel again, but not if I have to stay in that original Luxury Junior Suite.  It looks like they have at least 2 of these type of rooms per floor.

    Re: Soho Hotel

I just wanted to write in about my recent experience at the Soho Hotel. I found it to be very disappointing...by far the least impressive of all of the Firmdale Hotels in London (I've stayed at the Covent Garden, Haymarket and Charlotte Street) My husband and I recently stayed in the Soho Suite over the holidays and the service was really lacking. Room service took almost an hour every day for breakfast and was always cold. There was an arrangement of dead flowers with an inch of brown water that no one changed out (finally after the smell got so rank, I put it out in the hall) service at the bar was also not great...and I was surprised that the three nights that my husband and I went down for a drink, there were several 'working girls' working the bar...(real WORKING girls, not just a few chicks dressed slutty) Also, I worked out in the gym and was initially delighted to see they had one of those Power Plate machines..I was using it when a massage therapist opened a nearby door and yelled at me to get off of it because the noise was bothering her client she was working on. If it is too noisy than why have it in the gym next to the massage room? Also..I can't believe the Firmdale Hotels are still getting away with the $40 a day wifi charge for the rooms. Never Again!
