It's Beautiful but....

The Rose hotel is beautiful but the staff is rude, snobby, and does little to make guests feel welcome. In a small town environment like Pleasanton wants to promote, businesses should work hard to make guests feel welcome. I felt as if the desk clerk was acting as if I had no business asking for directions to my room. As I was finishing my visit the phone rang asking how soon I would be leaving...at $700.00 per night I don't want to feel as if the hotel is pushing me out of the room! So if you are looking for a beautiful setting the Rose has it but in the customer service end they really need work.
