Work with the staff if you want better service and be sure to walk the grounds -
Ask for a wake-up call. You get complimentary French-Press coffee with it (with cream and sugar, if so desired), delivered within 30 minutes of the call. -
Our sitters enjoy taking children for nature walks throughout the many paths at The Parker. There are always butterflies, hummingbirds and other exciting creatures to explre. -
Sean at the bar is the best!!! Makes great cocktails and fun to hang with. Best muddler - Mojitos in Cali too. We will be back!!! -
I have a love/hate relationship with this hotel: wonderful setting, amazing spa and cool grounds, but service can be pretty bad. Those who do SPG will notice they don't always play by those rules. -
The spa is the best but I'd rather rent a house with friends than stay here, service is terrible. -
PSYC spa is relaxing and getting a massage with your choice of music genre on the iPod is great!! -

Hey! So your in Palm Springs at one of my favorite properties, take a stroll to the lemonade stand, then a dip into the pool. Friday-Saturday nights are best for ambiance, entertainment and fire pit. -

Nice to get a drink here and wander around the grounds of the hotel -
The waffles with the bananas and top with creme brûlée are an Amazing treat for brunch at norma's -
The female bartender is pretty terrible. The guy is much friendlier and makes good drinks. -
You don't have to bring an Ipod...they supply them at the spa. -
Eggs Florentine at Normas! Delish!! -
Tip for the Parker - bus the tables in the lounge! -
Lobster mac and cheese at Norma's! -
Mojitos at the pool then hit the yacht club
awesome
Awesome palm springs desert getaway! this is the one hotel i enjoy the most! the golf courses are fabulous too
Amazing grounds...
My boyfriend and I went to the Parker a few weeks ago during the week, where they have a really great room rate. We were both taken by the chic retro style of Johnathan Adlers vision of fun easy going life style that you walk into and forget all your worries. The Hotels sense of humor along with Mr. Adler is awesome and quirky. We love the amazing gounds and the sweet breakfast menu. The French Toast I had was like having a birthday cake for my 10th birthday. The service is excellent for food and guest services. The only thing I could see to improve is the pool side menu. The Items are priced right for the type of hotel they are, but the food lacked flavor and creativity. They do allow dogs under 20 lbs for a $150.00 daily rate which is a little outrages, but maybe a certain comedian had something to do with that policy after the fact. LOL Over all The Parker is a great place to escape from any concrete jungle.
By far the BEST hotel in Palm Springs
I have been coming to the Parker ever since it first opened and I have never been disappointed. I have friends who have complained about service or price (yes, it can be a pretty deep-pocket experience, but if you come in the summer you can get rooms for as low as $160), but I have never personally had a bad moment at this place. From the moment you arrive on the property, everything is catered to your needs and making sure you're comfortable. The grounds alone are worth it --there's practically every kind of plant and tree on the premises, a croquet lawn, a fabulous spa, hammocks, a fire pit with butterfly chairs, grapefruit & orange trees that you're free to pick fruit from & have freshly squeezed for you if you like ... the list goes on. The beds are super comfortable and so are the sheepskin rugs, but I do admit that they really need to upgrade their TV's -- you'd expect from such a cool hi-end spot that the TV's would be flat screens. As for toiletries, they used to offer Hermes soap in every room, but the last couple of times I've been those seem to be curiously absent. Even so, the saltwater pools are awesome and Mister Parkers is fantastic. Normas is incredible as well, altho sometimes it's a little hit-and-miss w/the fancy omelettes, but the oj is perfect! I mean.. even the glasses and dishware is cool. No detail has been spared at this place and that's why I love it so. If you're big into design, you'll love this place. The location is off the main area of downtown, but you'll almost not want to ever leave .. and w/the restaurants & spa onsite, there's really no reason.
Cool atmosphere, nice spa, pool - great service.
Showed up at The Parker without really knowing anything about it. Was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely a throwback to the swinging sixties (I expected Sean Connery's 007 to show up at any moment). The design is very cool and the service is great. Beautiful desert gardens on a multi-acre resort-style property. Lots of places to get romantically lost at night. Nice bar, good cafe (didnt try Mr. Parkers restaurant). The room was decent. The spa was great, very upscale. The pool was fun, good for people watching (only drawback being that there were a lot of "industry" people there - do they EVER stop talking about business?). This place is great for a weekend getaway for two - not really for singles or kids.
