    • actually a pretty decent spot to stay. Very comfortable and you don't have to worry about it ever getting crowded. Quick ride to the strip
    • pool closes at 5pm. ridiculous.
    • cabs take forever, you are better off going to the main palms.
    • Hottest spot in town!
    • The pool on this side of the SkyTube is more relaxed than the rowdier main pool, but just as luxurious. And home to Las Vegas’ only Turkish bath, Hammam, a one-of-a-kind sanctuary.
    • Painfully sloooooooow elevators, balconies locked, horrendous buffet, and entire resort purposely understaffed to save the Maloofs a buck. You have been warned. Do NOT stay here.
    • fyi: the elevators are really really slow.
    • 4.14.11- we could NOT go on the balconies ab

Palms Place Reviews

Palms Place Vegas is awesome. I consider the Palms Place as a 5 star condo spa hotel. The Palms Place Studio Suite is 650 square feet and they are some of the nicest standard room accommodations I have ever seen. You get not one, but two large flat screen televisions and a mini flat screen in the bathroom. The Palms Place one bedroom suite is twice the size of studio and it is one of the best hotel rooms I have ever been in. Both of these units contain just 1 king bed and one Queen sofa sleeper and are able to sleep as many as 4 people. The Palms Place Two Bedroom Suite in no doubt one of the most spectacular hotel rooms you can find for a price that is reasonably affordable. At 1850 square feet, this hotel room provides 2 kings beds and 2 queen sofa sleepers and 2 full bathrooms and kitchens. What I love about this room is that every time I stay in it and bring someone in who has never been in one of the units, you immediately get the "what do you do for a living" look on their face. Over all this hotel rocks and highly recommend it to anyone who likes nice modern contemporary surroundings.

Not Great

My husband and I stayed here one night with my 3 year-old daughter. The hotel staff was VERY UNHELPFUL and even RUDE. Probably because we weren't single and had a child (even though she is VERY well-behaved.) When we checked in they were less than helpful and acted annoyed that we got our reservation from JetSetter.com. We even paid almost as much as the hotel charges so I don't understand why that even mattered. They failed to mention that we had 2 complimentary breakfasts.

Their website also said that the pool was open the week before we arrived, but it was still closed for the winter (even with temps over 80 degrees) This was half the reason we were staying here for the night.

The room was nice, but there were quite a few things not working (including the DO NOT DISTURB light)

We were put into a room without the view of the strip even though there were MANY vacancies with a view.

The fire alarm went off while we were there with a loud voice advising us to leave the room and take the stairs (we were on the 34th level) We found out that it was just because someone had smoked outside of their room in the hotel so apparently any time that happens (which I assume is a lot) you will be alarmed with an extremely loud siren and have to leave your room immediately.

Also, I tried to call room service and they never answered the phone.
