Newhalen Lodge is located approximately 185 miles (about 1 to 1 1/2 hours flight time) southwest of Anchorage in one of Alaska's most scenic regions. It is situated on Six-Mile Lake near Nondalton between Lake Iliamna and Lake Clark. This incredible region is recognized as perhaps the finest fishing area in North America. It is famous for its trophy rainbow trout and the largest sockeye salmon run in the world.
