The Halcyon is a small affordable boutique hotel in Bath city centre and has now been open since 11 Feb 2010. There were some teething problems in the beginning such as noise from the neighbouring bar but this was quickly eradicated when the hotel purchased the bar and converted it into a new guest lounge/breakfast room. This is adding further to the guest experience and providing extra space for residents to relax and try the hotel signature cocktails or rest after a day exploring the many sights of Bath.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Bath and the service given is of the highest class - The reviews on site such as TripAdvisor are outstanding and now placed 3rd highest of all hotels in Bath with 91% recommending us.

As owner of the hotel we are very proud of the hotel and service we provide - we're had great reviews in The Guardian, Independent, Times and Conde Naste. The previous reviewer (Will Painter) was a guest that stayed on our opening weekend when there were admittedly a few teething issues but because of this he received a full refund for his stay. One of his major concerns was that he believed that we had parking at the hotel - we do not, it is a public car park opposite, however we obviously did not make this entirely clear. (This taught us to be clear in future with all our guests - feedback helps us improve). During Mr Painters stay we did however feed his parking meter with money in the morning so that he did not have to get up too early to get a new parking ticket.
