foursquareIDYou'll never want to go home.
I loved it here! I've never been to a resort more peaceful. The rooms were cleaned spotless everyday, the spa was excellent, I have never been treated so well, well, maybe never is too generous, the Four Seasons Troon North is excellent too. Anyway, you'll never wanna go home. The shopping was great and a lot of fantastic restaurants nearby. I will definitely come back -- with a girl of a much better character next time.
Amazing Experience, Very Posh Posh!
I just returned home from my visit this past weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is hands down the best retreat for relaxation, fabulous treatment, and beautiful settings. The summer rates were very cheap for what you get at this resort. Join the President's Club, you'll get great membership benefits, plus its FREE to join. The staff are very friendly, not snobby like one would expect at a place like this...I was pleasantly surprised. I cannot wait to go back!!!
Stunning -- but isolated
The large rooms and posh facilities are absolutely top-notch -- and the staff goes out of their way to help. The only drawback is that the hotel is so isolated -- it's a couple of miles to get anywhere. So, you're stuck with dining at one of the fine restaurants (or room service) and they're all rather pricey.
Beautiful rooms, beautiful setting
To truly experience the desert setting, this is the place. The rooms are absolutely luxurious with truly spacious bathrooms. The grounds provide all the amenities -- pools everywhere, a laguna, several restaurants and a top-rated golf course. If you get the chance, eat at The Grill. Some of the best beef tenderloin I have had in recent memory. But be forewarned, the resort including the bars and restaurants are as expensive as expected.
Royal treatment in palacial desert
The resort is top notch with great rooms and beautiful surroundings. An absolute must is time at the spa. The eucalyptus steam room and Vichy shower are an excellent finish to any of the spa treatments (I recommend the hot rock massage). The golf course is a five minute drive, but it is the renowned Tournament Players Club. There are plenty of bars and sitting areas to relax and check out the people. The prices can be a bit steep, so consider a summer visit to get the most for your money.
