Great Motel on the Beach

Me and my husband were taking a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale in early March, 2009. We stayed at some hotel on the beach for one night before our cruise. What a nightmare; we got NO sleep because of all the noise from the spring breakers by the pool all night long. Well, we obviously did not want to stay there again (I forgot the name of it, thank God). So, after our cruise was over, we chose our accomodations much more wisely. We looked at a few different spots along the beach, but most were too expensive or just plain filthy, until we found the Ocean Holiday Motel, also right on the beach!! We stayed there for 3 days to soak in the sun and visit local friends. These accomodations were outstanding!! The rooms were clean, location was safe, and best of all we could sleep in peace!!! This place apparently caters to couples and families, because we never saw or heard any spring breakers. It does not have a pool, but you don't need one. We had a great time at the beach located directly across the street. We were very close to everything we needed and could not have asked for anything more. The service was pleasant and very affordable. We recommend the Ocean Holiday to everyone.
