    drab and roach infested

First off, they ARE NOT American owned and operated.  The pictures on the website ARE NOT even close to what the dirty, drab rooms look like.  During one stay at the motel I was over ran by cockroaches... after ordering delivery pizza, I ate and sat the box down on top of the small fridge.  after about 20 minutes I went to get another piece of pizza and when I opened the box and there were 50-100 roaches jumping and running everywhere.  then opening the microwave, I found plenty more. yuck. when I called the front desk and the owner, who is not American as the sign and website states, came to the room and acted like it was my fault for having the pizza. When I asked to change rooms, he acted like I was just doing it to get a differant room. Said to "make sure this room is ok because you can not change again."  The "theme rooms" are tacky and homemade.  My "disney room" had a homemade vallace with mickey painted on it. thats it. I travel with pets and on the last stay the owner was stuck in a blizzard in OKC and his front desk person(who is also a maid) forgot to charge me the $15 pet fee and the next time i wanted to stay, the owner said that my pets had caused $500 worth of damage to the room on the last visit(when i wasn't charged the fee). as usual, my pets had been very well behaved and there wasn't $500 worth of anything in the room to tear up.. I always take "before" pics and asked the owner why he hadn't sued me or called the police. He just said, "you no stay here no more." guess i should have offered the $15 pet deposit, but didn't know it could make or break Stone Inn.  so i would strongly suggest that you pay alittle more and stay elsewhere.  PLEASE do not stay here with your children---it is a health hazard.
