Awful customer service!

Rating: 2

I called and booked my husband and I a room to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. I called to reserve the room and was told that we would have a room on the top floor and that breakfast at the Atrium Cafe was included in the price. When we arrived to check in, the woman at the front desk hardley said two words to us. She did ask to see my license and then proceeded to throw it on the counter at me when she was finished with it. We were then given a room on the 9th floor...the hotel had 14 floors. We were dissappointed that we did not get a room on the top floor as promised but we didn't want to cause a stink since we were there to celebrate. Once we got to our room, an hour or so later we called the front desk to ask a question about room service...the phone rang and rang and no one ever picked up. But the icing on the cake was the following morning. We were ready for breakfast but were told that breakfast was part of the Club level package (top floor) and they were not open on the weekends (it was Sunday morning). Not once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience. They basically said...the woman who took the reservation over the phone made a mistake. The hotel itself was beautiful, the room was very nice and clean however based on the service my husband and I recieved we will not be returning to or recommending this hotel.

Great experience!

Rating: 10

The Renaissance Waverly is beautiful & our room was great--roomy, elegant, etc. We stayed on a Saturday (wedding night), so we got to experience the Sunday brunch I had heard about--it was great! We had our parents meet us for the brunch before we went on our honeymoon--it was the perfect setting for our send-off!

Try the Brunch Buffet!

Rating: 10

Ok, so the hotel is wonderful....but you have to try the jazz brunch buffet on Sundays! For about 25.00/person you have access to an array of food.....pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, ....chicken , fish, salad, desserts...etc. The staff is prompt and courteous in making sure you are completely satisfied. A live jazz band serves as of backdrop while you sit and enjoy your food. You will feel like you are outside with the many plants and open view ceiling in the dining area. Do not miss out and try it at least once. I do suggest you get there early to get the best selections.

Wonderful!

Rating: 10

The Renaissance Waverly has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the world. The service was wonderful, the rooms were great, and their organization at the PracticeWorks seminar was phenomenal! I would definitely stay here again, and will be looking for a Renaissance in all of my travels because of my experience here!

A comfortable stay

All of your needs are taken care of here. The staff is gracious and the Sunday brunch absolutely cannot be beat. I always try to stay at the Waverly when I am in town and I have never been disappointed in my room or in the level of service.
