Great little fitness center; pool, hot tub, sauna, treadmills, elipticals, bikes, machines, and weights. -
Internet service is horrible -
Parking is horrible. Every other car is double parked and the hotel staff could not care less -
Great prices for the rooms. My advice is to get drinks & snacks to stock up the empty fridge provided with the room. The shop by the lobby is super expensive. Nice lady at the counter though! -
Rooms seem a little dated and overpriced. -
The portable credit card machine at the valet blows - so slow. -
Parkn is hella expensive! -
Staff was great. Nice hotel. Would definitely stay here again. -
cheap valet airport parking here at cheapairportparking.org -

Make chaca-chaca to your lady friend in the seductive elevators. -
Aviation buff wanting runway view? Seek high rooms ending in 4, 6, and other low even numbers. -
If you are having dinner at the hotel order the cheesecake lollipops! Delicious! My favorite flavor was the peanut butter. -
Great hotel, best rounge -
Won't stay here again. 3 days, 3 days of Internet issues. Nice enough staff but that only takes it so far. -
Free shuttle to and from LAX. Take bus#3 to get to Santa Monica and bus#2 to get to downtown LA :) cheers -
The alarm clock has a super-secret iPod dock on it. I have stayed here 12+ times and just found it. -
Great Concierge Lounge.....and close to LAX -
Parking in the garage is $25 (they'll charge it to your room)! But there's a trick. Pressing the red 'help' button on the exit gate is what opens the door. Anyone can enter, and so u can park 4 free. -
My favorite lax airport hotel. For early am departures, take an extra early shuttle. They jam up in the am if sharing with Marriott -
Not much to do in the area, not even a 7-11 to walk to.
SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE
I generally don't like staying too near the airport, but I now make it a point to stay at the Renaissance Montura when I am in Los Angeles (usually a couple of times a month). The staff is exceptionally courteous and helpful and will go out of their way to accomodate their guests, whether you request early check-in, message service, extra towels..you name it, if they can, they will do it. The bar is a wondeful, relaxing place, also with great staff. It doesn't have the hotel bar atmosphere one expects. The restaurant is also exceptional, though a bit on the pricey side. Room service is also a bit steep, but service is excellent and much quicker than in many hotels. There is not a bad room in the place. Even the deluxe rooms are well-appointed and the beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever encountered. The only issue I had was that the high-speed internet in the rooms isn't really as high-speed as I would like, but the internet connections in the Business Center in the lobby are lightening-fast (and at 49 cents per minute, should be). Parking is also a bit steep, as on my last stay, Valet was $23.00 a day (with in and out privileges), but well worth it, as they are fast and efficient. Though close to the airport, you do not really notice the noise, which is actually unusual for a hotel so close. Though not within walking distance, there are numerous great places to dine within a short driving distance. The only thing within walking distance is Burger King. Overall, I highly recommend the Renaissance Montura. The staff alone makes you want to come back.
Better inside than outside; Nice place
I've sayed here for 9 weeks straight for work now. If you're working near LAX, it's great. The rooms are pretty nice (don't expect a nice view), I'd say better than average but nothing too special. The place looks average at best from the outside, but the restaurant downstairs is nice and the service is good. The parking passes they use are weird - you have to keep one in your car, and give it to an attendant every time you leave, along with another pass you get each time you enter. The club level offers a nice continental 'plus' breakfast and food throughout the day. You have access to it if you are a 'preferred' Marriott member. If you're looking for a hotel for a vacation, this might not be it - unless you're visiting people in Marina Del Rey or near the airport. It's more for business.

Great service, good location. Constant service to LAX. Great helpfull staff and very nicely decorated rooms. Had no problems with this hotel...
what a great stay
my wife and i came to la to visit some family and vacation a little. when we arrived we cought the free hotel shuttle and got right to our rooms. The hotel was beautiful and the service was impecable. the hotel was also quite convient to all the areas we had to travel to (mainly south bay). the food at the hotel was also very good...a step above your normal hotel food. they also offer a wireless internet service through the whole hotel (from the lobby all the way to the top floor) which let me keep in touch with my business back home...it was a great stay and we will definately be back.
