Great for the price

Rating: 10

We took a weekend trip to Cleveland from Pittsburgh last summer and booked our room on priceline. For $65 dollars we got an excellent room here. I would suggest booking online thru priceline instead of paying the extremely expensive prices per room. The staff was very friendly and knew a lot about the areas. Coming from Pittsburgh, I was used to the malls staying open til atleast 9:00pm, I went to buy a pair of jeans at the mall attached to the hotel but it was closed by 8:00 which was extremely disappointing.

Great setting for a wedding

Rating: 10

We attended my friend's wedding here & it was fabulous. The rooms had an old charm to them, but all the modern updates that make it a lush setting. The food at the reception was out of this world, worth the price.

Beautiful Hotel

Rating: 9

The rooms in this hotel were recently refurbished. Very tasteful and elegent. The only place I stay when I am in Cleveland. Becuse of the age of the structure you will find the elevators to be slow and some bathrooms are small. Overall the best hotel in downtown Cleveland.

Comfy, but old tiny bathrooms

Rating: 4

The hotel offers central location, however it does not have nice views. Moreover, windows are not modern and sound insulation is average. Bathrooms are very old. The hotel is attached to a Tower City mall with a train stop for the direct line to the airport, many fast food outlets, upscale shops and multi-screen cinema. The best feature of the hotel is arguably its lobby - a wonderful space with many sofas and armchairs, huge windows, etc. Rooms are spacious.

Elegance with a layer of dirt

Rating: 5

Needs bigger elevators, quicker parking service, and rooms need cleaned more thoroughly. If this is a historic building, the city needs to get involved in renovating it. Too many good qualitys that fall wayside to their bad health codes.
