I was expecting the hotel to be nicer than it was. The location was nice, but the hotel itself was dreary.

best thing about this ramada...

...the location!!! the hotel itself is pretty standard. it has art deco style interior and the rooms are furnished accordingly. personally i don't like it, to me it made the room seem like there was too much space and not enough stuff in it. the staff was pleasant enough, although one of the guys was new and from out of town so he wasn't very helpful with directions or infomation about the city. housekeeping also was sometimes unresponsive to calls or just forgot when we actually talked to someone about getting more sheets. on the plus side, through expedia it was a great deal compared to most of the hotels in the area.

My family and I stayed at the Ramada Plaza during the past Memorial day weekend. We found the staff extremely helpful and our room was clean and tidy. There was so much to do within walking distance of the Ramada. We will definately be staying there again.

I agree with R. Fullwood. For value and close proximity to all Hollywood attractions the staff at the Ramada certainly mad our stay a memorable one. West Hollywood is a vibrant place with so much to see and do. I will never stay downtown again it's the Ramada Plaza West Hollywood for my family everytime.
