BLACK MOLD plus
3 of us stayed at Ramada Inn 2200 5th Ave in Seattle on 7/23/08, rm #508. Even though I woke up the next morning thinking I had a flea bit on my wrist, what bothered us the most is all the black mold around the window and the A/C unit. I think we deserve a refund. Also, no smoke alarm or fire sprinklers in room or hallway, I did see a sprinkler over the front desk, 5 floors below. They have added a smoke alarm in front of the elevator, an obvious after thought. Lloyd
Not Good
Our travel agent booked this hotel for us, not knowing what it was like. Upon our arrival, their records showed arrival for the 12th which was, actually, our departure date. Fortunately, there were rooms available. As we first entered our room, there was a very distinct, strong smell of urine in the entrance/bathroom area. We went back to the front desk and asked for another room. The person at the desk did not seem concerned/surprised nor did he apologize. Our second room was a corner room and the floor plan was odd. It was long and narrow so that the TV did not face the beds....it was on the far wall opposite the entrance to the room. The bathroom door had a hole in it...as if someone had punched it. Everything was dusty. The bedding was worn....did not feel fresh. The room smelled musty. We had intended to stay 4 nights. It was too uncomfortable staying that one night. We left after one night and found other accomodations.
